Wysonda Stewart

Wysonda DePriest Stewart, age 82, of Chester, VA, passed away on Friday, September 16, 2011. She was born in Mexia, TX, the daughter of the late Louis and Gladys Bates DePriest. Mrs. Stewart was also preceded in death by her husband, Ret. Lt. Col. Warren F. Stewart. She was a civilian employee of the Department of Defense, where she worked for offices and locations in the U.S. and Germany for many years. Mrs. Stewart is survived by her special daughter, Yvonne L. Martin and husband, George W.; god children, Susan Anne Martin and Lane Martin; and special friends, Dottie Verdi and Priscilla Adams. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Home Care Assistants, who provided care to Mrs. Stewart throughout the last six months. A graveside funeral service will take place on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at 11 a.m. in the Sunset Memorial Park, Chester.
