Wilma “Peggy” Holland Logan, 80, of Chester, passed away on Friday, May 10, 2013. She was a member of the Chester Chapter of the AARP, and a volunteer with the Senior Advocate’s Office in Chesterfield. Mrs. Logan attended First Baptist Church in Hopewell. She was a graduate of the Johnston-Willis Hospital-School of Nursing class of 1954, and a member of the Johnston-Willis Nurses Alumni Association. Mrs. Logan was most recently employed with Family Physicians of Chester as a Registered Nurse. She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank R. Logan; and her mother, Grace James Stuart. Mrs. Logan is survived by her daughters, Brenda L. Lamb and her husband, George Sr., and Sandra L. Pentecost and her husband, Wayne; grandchildren, Hella G. Williamson and her husband, Travis, George W. Lamb Jr. and his wife, Samantha, Jodi P. Abbott and her husband, Mark, and Jason W. Pentecost and his girlfriend, Jessica Fuller; five great-grandchildren, Elijah William Williamson, Eleanor Grace Williamson, Henry James Williamson, Nathan Easton Abbott, and Kyle Logan Abbott; numerous nieces and nephews; loving pets; and other loving family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, May 13 , 2013 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
