Willie B. Brown, Jr.

Willie B. Brown, Jr., 60, of Dinwiddie, VA, passed on October 2, 2026. He is preceded in death by his grandson, Willie B. Brown IV; niece, Kati Moody; and cousin, Walter Eugene Brown, Jr.

Willie is survived by his wife of four years, Donna M. Brown; his parents, Willie B. Brown and Pamela B. Brown; his sister, Princess Moody; brother, Destry Brown; sons, Willie B. Brown III, Christopher Horne, and Shawn Maitland; daughters, Taylor Pearson, Victoria Edwards, and Makayla Kovalaski; stepson, Timothy Lewis; stepdaughters, Masada Winfield and Jasmine Scott; eleven wonderful grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Willie graduated from high school and made a career as a roofer.

Willie loved fishing, having fun with his grandchildren, music, and never shied away from a party. He was a wonderful man that would give you the shirt off his back, the last dollar in his pocket, and got the jokes.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 9, 2026 at the Dinwiddie Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, 6616 Boydton Plank Rd., Petersburg, VA 23803. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 8, 2026 at the funeral home.
