William Jordan Odom

William Jordan Odom "Bill", 84, of Hopewell, VA, went to see our Lord peacefully, October 7, 2024. He was born in Hertford, NC, on February 16, 1940. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nellie Ann Cooke and Wayland Odom; his wife, Janice Marie Odom; his sons, William Keith Odom and Kenneth Daryl Odom; his sister, Mary Ann Castelloe; and grandson, Joshua Hunter Smith.

Left to cherish his memories are his twin daughters, Karen Walston (Billy) and Kimberly Odom (Reggie); his brother, Robert Odom; nine grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

He loved going to First Christian Church, Hopewell, VA. He enjoyed making jokes and eating out at Hardees with friends and family. He loved his music and watching westerns. He loved his family very much and would give you the shirt off his back if you ever needed it. He is very important to our family. We know you are happy being back with your wife!

The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 13, 2024, from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm, at J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home - Hopewell Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 14, 2024, at 11:00 am, at the funeral home, with interment to follow at Appomattox Cemetery.
