William Fielden Leach, 88, of Chester, passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2013. He was born on June 21, 1924 in Parkersburg, West Virginia. Mr. Leach enjoyed running his business as a Piano Tuner and rebuilder for thirty-five years. He was a member of the Piano Technician Guild and a Charter Member of Bermuda Hundred United Methodist Church. Mr. Leach was also retired from the Department of Justice. He is preceded in death by his first wife of fifty-five years, Geraldine T. Leach; parents, Jesse and Hadie Henderson Leach; and sisters, Ruthann Hunt, and Pauline Swain. Mr. Leach is survived by his wife of ten years, Patricia (Murdock) Leach; daughters, Leslie Ann Peppers, and Janie Leach Imgrund and her husband, Thomas; step-children, Denise E. Martens and her husband, Christopher, and Dale K. Belcher; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and other loving family and friends. The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. on Monday, May 13, 2013 at Bermuda Hundred United Methodist Church (2025 Florence Avenue, Chester, VA 23836). A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. at the church. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
