Wayne Price

Wayne Young Price, 70, of Petersburg, passed away on September 17, 2011. He was a native of Petersburg, and the son of the late Junius L. and Addie Perdue Price. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Junius L. Price, Jr. Mr. Price was the Past president of the Retail Merchants Association, Past Exalted Ruler of the Petersburg Elks Lodge # 237, and the owner and Optician of Howerton & Willoughby Opticians for over 25 years. He is survived by his daughter Tracy Cochran and husband, Glen; two grandchildren, Kassie and Michael Cochran, all of Easley, S.C.; a nephew, Edward Price; one niece, Vicky Mazza; one great-niece and one great nephew. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday September 22, 2011 in Blandford Cemetery. The family will greet friends for 30 minutes prior to the graveside service.
