Walter Titterington, longtime resident of Hopewell, Virginia, passed away in Charlottesville, Virginia on March 17th, 2012. He was lovingly surrounded by his wife, Ruth, of 65 years, his three daughters, Carol, Rae, and Betty, his seven grandchildren, and his four great grandchildren.
Walter graduated from Hopewell High School and served in the United States Navy. He was devoted to his family and his church. He loved and lived his music and shared his beautiful voice with the Wesley United Methodist Church choir and the Richmond Virginians for many years. A celebration of Walter's life will be at the church on Wednesday, March 21st at 3pm.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wesley United Methodist Church, 2901 Norfolk Street Hopewell, Virginia 23860.
