Vonnie May Trent, 78, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2013. Born in Glen Fork, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Ova Blevins. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Edwin Trent; brothers, Wenton Lloyd Blevins and Zodas Blevins; and sisters, Lenora, Leola and Alma Blevins. Vonnie is survived by her children, Edwin Trent of Stony Creek, Alma Francis (Ellis) of Dinwiddie, Janet Narrow (Douglas) of Colonial Heights; grandchildren, Edwin Trent, Jr., Amanda Barnes (Brandon), Joshua Smith, Ashley Smith Davis (Colby), DJ Narrow and Jeremy Narrow; great grandchildren, Lucas Barnes, Abigail Smith, Addison Smith, Elise Davis, Nathaniel Davis and Landen Davis; brother, Fairley Blevins (Bonnie); sisters, Maudie Blevins, Lova Harding (Plummer), and Alvie Graham (Rudy); sister-in-laws , Sue Blevins, Lou Blevins and Lois Choquette; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. She was a long standing member of Calvary Baptist Church in Colonial Heights. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at Bermuda Memorial Park with Rev. Dr. Haskett officiating.
