Virginia W. Wilkerson

Virginia M. Woodall Wilkerson, 92, of Colonial Heights, widow of Waldo Emerson Wilkerson, passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2012. She was preceded in death by her parents William Henry and Addie May Wade Wilkerson and a daughter Shirley A. Cannon. Virginia was an avid gardener and everyone said that she was blessed with a green thumb; in her passing, she left her green thumb to her son Roy. She is survived by two sons, Steve E. Wilkerson and Roy Wilkerson and wife, Marie all of Colonial Heights and one daughter, Virginia Weatherford of Waverly; four grandchildren. Graveside services will be conducted 1:00 PM Friday, April 13, 2012 at Southlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T.
