Virginia Katherine Hagopian Topian

Virginia Katherine Hagopian Topian, age 91, departed this life to be with her Lord and Savior on July 28, 2026. She was born in Hopewell, Virginia, and lived there until 2018. She then moved to Goochland, Virginia, to live with her youngest daughter and son-in-law.

Virginia was the daughter of the late Maybell Carrie McCormick Hagopian and Daniel Hagopian. She is also preceded in death by her husband, John T. Topian; her three sisters, Goldie Slusser, Rosa Slusser, and Lucy Hayes; and her son-in-law, William Thomas "Tommy" Sims, Jr.

She is survived by her three children, Teresa Topian Sims, John Randall Topian (Renee), and Donna Topian Rosenbloom (Steven); five grandchildren, Nicholas Sims (Kristie), Mackenzie Topian Jones (Dustin), Meredith Topian, Scott Mitchell Rosenbloom (Sasha), and Ethan Rosenbloom; and three great-grandchildren, Penelope Sims, Nora Sims, and Baylor Jones.

All services will be private. The family is being served by the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
