Virginia "Jenny" Dare Sykes

Virginia Dare (Jenny) Sykes, age 78 of Chesterfield, VA went to be with her heavenly lord on Saturday, October 18, 2020. She was loved and cherished by all that knew her and will be greatly missed. She is survived by 2 daughters, Tina Ritt (Ronnie) and Kim Cairnes Elliot (Kim) one son Doug Dotson (Lupe); two sisters Judy Hoover (Harry S.) and Jo Mays (Danny); seven Granddaughters, Jessica, Christinia, Sheena, Whitney, Megan and Jackie; two Grandsons, Ronnie Ritt, Jr. and Brandon Cairnes. Also left behind was 25 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews who she dearly loved. She was preceded in death by her son, Scott Dotson; great- grandson, Justin Ritt; her parents, Arlen and Thelma Ruff; and brother, Darrell Ruff.
Due to Covid 19 there will be no visitation at this time . A service of remembrance and celebration of Jenny’s life will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are being taken care of by JT Morriss & Sons Inc Funeral Home. Those wishing to remember her in a special way, may make donations in her memory to The American Cancer Society or American Diabetic Association.
