Vincent Cancino, Jr.

Vincent Cancino, Jr., 87, of Prince George, Virginia, passed away on March 11, 2026.

Born in Santa Ana, California, Vincent graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School and later earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Resource Management from St. Leo College. He proudly served in the United States Army for 30 years, retiring with the distinguished rank of Sergeant Major.

Vincent was preceded in death by his mother, Bertha Brucklmaier; his father, Vincente A. Cancino; and his sisters, Luisa Cancino, Maria Elena "Mary Ellen" Cancino, and Christina Martinez.

He is survived by his loving wife of over 20 years, Liselotte Ciavarella Cancino; his daughter, Dolores Cancino; his brothers, Miguel "Mike" Cancino and Jose "Joe" Cancino; and his sister, Alice Cancino. He is also survived by his sons, Henry Ciavarella (Brette), Terry Ciavarella (Samantha), and Mike Ciavarella (Julie); his grandchildren, Anthony Vincent Benge (Wendy), Christopher Michael Benge (Sara), Danielle Erika Benge, Tara Ciavarella, Skyler Ciavarella, Savannah Ciavarella, and Scarlett Ciavarella; and his great-granddaughter, Brayli Erika Benge. Vincent is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Vincent loved the outdoors and stayed active, always keeping busy cutting lawns, raking leaves, and tending to trees. Above all, he was devoted to his family and was always there whenever they needed him. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
