Thomas Eugene Smith

Thomas Eugene Smith, 67, passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2026. He was the son of the late Charles and Delores 'Word' Smith.

He was a graduate of Wayne County High School in Georgia, and UVA at Wise, Virginia. After college he served 9 years in the US Army. He worked for Walmart Distribution DC 6023, over 25 years. He loved hunting and fishing. He played guitar for The Nottoway River Band and the gospel group, Little Church.

He is survived be his wife, Page; his sister, Cubetta (Randy); his brothers, Ken and Sam (Darlene); his daughter, Arelene; numerous grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at 11:00 am, at Dinwiddie Baptist Church, 14818 Wilkinson Road, Dewitt, VA 23840.

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the American Diabetes Association or his church, Dinwiddie Baptist Church.
