Thomas McClain Nichols

Thomas M. Nichols, 83, of South Chesterfield, VA, passed away on May 18, 2026. He is survived by his daughter, Amy Webster and husband, Richard; grandchildren, Stephanie Farmer (Louis), Christopher Nichols (Samantha), Monica Henry (Tony); great-grandchildren, Nathan, Sophia, EmRee, and Ava; sisters, Wanda Abblett and Shirley Casteel (Norman); and numerous extended family members and friends.

Thomas was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War and served his country proudly for twenty years. He enjoyed Westerns and spent time as a member of the VFW in North Carolina. He loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with and spoiling them.

A graveside service for Thomas will be held at Southlawn Memorial Park on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 10:00am. The family is being served by the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son.
