Thelma Lee Hopkins

Thelma Lee Hopkins, 89, of Hopewell, passed away on Monday, January 6, 2014. She was the daughter of the late Joseph W. Lee and Dora Williams Lee. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom H. Hopkins; sister, Mary Morgan; brother, Eugene Lee; grandchildren, Brandi Poirier and Michael Poirier. She is survived by her son, Tom H. Hopkins, Jr. and his wife, Joyce; her daughters, Patricia H. Pridy and her husband, Ed, of Charles City, Carolyn H. Rivenbark of Garner, NC, Maggie Louise Henson of Hopewell; her grandchildren, Treena O’Neill, Rhonda Poirier, Fonda Mitchell, Debbie Harper, Margaret Turner, Lewis Hopkins, Joseph Hopkins, Brooke Ottesen, Dana Crowder, Christopher Henson; sixteen great-grandchildren; twelve great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at the Hopewell Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Services. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 9, 2014 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 4181 Prince George Drive, Prince George, Va. 23875.
