Thelma Childress Bohatec

Thelma Childress Bohatec, 91, of Disputanta, widow of John V. Bohatec, passed away Thursday, June 20, 2013. She was the daughter of the late Charles Richardson and Grace Johns Childress. Mrs. Bohatec was a longtime member of Newville Baptist Church and a retired civil service employee. She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Bohatec Smith of Gloucester, VA; son, Charles A. Bohatec and wife, Sharon of Carson; grandchildren, Lillie-Anne Bohatec and Johnathan Smith. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 24th at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. Interment will follow at Southlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
