Teruko â??Terryâ? Oyama Rhodes, 73, of Hopewell passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2009. She was preceded in death by her parents, Suakite and Yosheâ??no Oku Oyama and her husband, Charles L. Rhodes. Terry is survived by her daughter, Rebecca R. Reed of Prince George; sons, Bobby L. Rhodes of Sandston, Roy L. Rhodes of Hopewell and Ray L. Rhodes of Dinwiddie; grandchildren, Shannon, Raymond, Jr., Tabatha, Adam, Robby, Floyd, Katie, Joey and Shawn; eight great grandchildren; sister, Yoko Nakanish of Japan; brother, Ukuo Oyama of Japan and beloved sister-in-law, Nancy L. Rhodes of Chester. The family will receive friends at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Thursday, October 22, 2009 from 7 to 8:30 pm. A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Friday, October 23, 2009 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Washington Memorial Park. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com .
