Susan Mary Ray

Susan Mary Ray, 69, of Prince George, passed away on Monday, November 18, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Sr. and Helen Rushworth.

Susan loved to fish. She loved wildlife and nature, especially hummingbirds and flowers. She was an especially talented cross stitcher, and even won many awards for her work. Susan will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.

Susan is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Ervin Ray; daughters, Angela Ray and Elizabeth Pirone (Tony); four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; siblings, Natalie Bradsher, Dorothy Taylor, Joe Rushworth, Jr. (Geneva), and Patricia Gregory; and numerous extended family members.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 25, 2024, at 3:00 p.m., at Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens, 11302 Merchants Hope Road.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Hospice or a charity of your choice.
