Sr. S. Covington

Oliver Stuart Covington Sr., 92, of Petersburg, passed away at his residence Sunday August 20, 2006. He was the son of the late Thomas & Virginia Cox Covington. He was also the former co- owner operator of Covington Brothers Feed & Seed & was a member of Christ & Grace Church. He is survived by his wife Mary Lanier Covington, a son; Oliver Stuart Covington Jr., grandson; Michael B. Covington, sister; Louise Covington Elder, and a brother Thomas Covington. A graveside service will be conducted in Southlawn Memorial Park Wednesday August 23, at 10:00 AM with the Rev. David Teschner Rector of Christ & Grace Episcopal Church officiating.
