Shirley Jean Wester

Shirley Jean Wester, 86, of Prince George, VA, formerly of Lakeland, FL, passed away on November 23, 2024. She was the daughter of the late Lyra Mae Lumpkin; and was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Jordan Wester; and a son, Richard Tyson.

Shirley loved crafting and was especially known for her beautiful Santa ornaments, that she made out of seashells. Her ornaments were popular at craft shows in Florida and adorn the Christmas trees of many Lakeland residents.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Robert Tyson (Linda); step-daughter, Sheryl Wester; and grandchildren, Nicholas Tyson, Stephanie Tyson, and Kellie Tyson. All services will be private. The family is being served by the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
