Sherry Wells Lewis

Sherry Wells Lewis, 70, of Sutherland, Virginia, passed away on August 13, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey Wells, Jr. and Peggy R. Humphries; and by her brother Harvey "Buzz" Wells III. Sherry is survived by her husband of 46 years, Robert "Buck" Lewis: son, Codie T. Lewis (Michaela); sister, Diane Wells Butler; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Sherry was a member of Smyrna Baptist Church. Christmas was her favorite time of year, and she loved shopping, slots, bingo, the beach, and Elvis. She also loved her Shih Tzu's, Bella and Precious (who she lost). Sherry was a loving wife and mother.

A funeral service will be held on August 20, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the Dinwiddie Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow the service at Southlawn Memorial Park
