Sharon Diane Carr

Sharon Diane Carr, 49, of Dinwiddie County lost her battle to cancer on Friday September 19, 2014, surrounded by close family and friends. Sharon was a dedicated partner, parent, grandparent, and friend. She was employed by International Paper. She is being remembered for her sense of humor, dry wit and her love for horses and fishing. Sharon is survived by her mother, Carol Kellet; life partner, Debbie Broughton; children, Shanna Wiseman and Tony Story; grandson, Wyatt Story; three brothers; one sister; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6pm to 8pm on Monday, September 22, 2014 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. A graveside service will be held at 11am on Tuesday September 23, 2014 in Appomattox Cemetery in Hopewell, VA.
