Sharalyn L. Rose, 58, of Colonial Heights, VA, and formerly of Knoxville, TN, passed away suddenly in her home on January 24, 2025.
Born on April 27, 1966, to Mr. and Mrs. Richard E. Lindfors, Sr., in Hopewell, VA, she graduated from Thomas Dale High School, in 1984, and had a great career in Customer Service. After relocating to Knoxville, TN, in 1989, she became a successful business owner and held various positions in the customer service industry.
Shari was a natural caregiver, especially to families in both Knoxville and Virginia. She had recently relocated back to Colonial Heights to assist her family lovingly. A devoted member of her church, Bookwalter United Methodist Church, in Knoxville, she served in many roles. Her commitment to the children's ministry, from the nursery to Sunday school leader, will be missed.
Shari was predeceased by her father, Richard Sr.; and maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Howard G. Crowe. She is survived by her two children, Briana (Mike) and Nicholas (Rachel); her mother, Judith; and her brother, Rich (Sabrina). Close family also includes Aunt Annette Gugle (Donald); cousins, Jeff (Shari) and Michael "Moose" (Karen); and her beloved grandchildren, Aria, of Knoxville, TN, and Grayson, of Colonial Heights, VA; and other family and friends in Virginia and Tennessee.
As Shari was an avid and tireless animal lover, in lieu of flowers, please donate toys, blankets, and food to your local animal shelter in the name of her beloved cat, Molly.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
