Sandra Jean Harris

Sandy passed away peacefully on May 26, 2026, surrounded by her two sons and her sister Connie.

Sandy was the loving mother of Desmond "Desi" and David (Jennifer); grandmother of Daniel Arcenia (Bryanna), Justin Arcenia (Kelsey), Chad Arcenia (Elizabeth), Kailynn Constantine (Nicholas), Nicole "Vale" Arcenia; Edison Trevino, Eleanor Tervino, Javan Trevino, Raleigh Trevino, Adela Trevino; honorary grandmother of Sean Wood-Allen; great-grandmother of Connor Arcenia, Isaiah Arcenia, Grey Arcenia, Ezra Arcenia, Edyn Arcenia, Elowyn Arcenia-Lecaroz, Gavin Arcenia, Emery Arcenia, Jovie Arcenia, Morgan Arcenia, Mila Arcenia, Miles Arcenia, Miller Arcenia, and Luca Constantine; sister to Connie Godfrey (Greg), Tammy Denton (Rick), Sonny Thompson (Karen), and James Thompson (Christy); and aunt to several nieces and nephews.

Sandy was preceded in death by her mother Eva Marie Rice; her brother Charles Thompson; and her husband Randy Harris.

Sandy's faith in Jesus was a guiding presence throughout her life, and she is now at home in heaven.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Park (2901 West Hundred Road, Chester, VA).
