Sandra Lee Brown (née Faith)

Sandra Lee Brown (née Faith), 80, of Sutherland, passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2026. She was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Gladys Faith; sister, Beverly Sitek; brother, Ronald Faith; and daughter, Christine Joan Brown.

Sandy was a proud school bus driver for Dinwiddie County Schools, where her love for children was widely known by the community. She could often be found babysitting when she wasn't spending time surrounded by her family and friends on camping and hiking trips. As much as she loved the outdoors, Sandy also enjoyed time at home honing her skills at sewing. She was a longtime member of Ocran United Methodist Church near her home in Sutherland, where she was part of the United Women of Faith Day Circle. Sandy's service to her community as a bus driver and her devotion to her family will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.

Sandy is survived by her loving husband, William Brown; her children, David William Brown and Michelle Lee Brown; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Friday, August, 28, 2026, at Ocran United Methodist Church

A funeral service for Sandy will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Ocran United Methodist, with interment at Ocran United Methodist Church Cemetery to follow. The family is being served by the Dinwiddie Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
