Samuel Ellison

Samuel Ellison, 85, of Prince George, VA, passed away suddenly on December 8, 2024. Sam retired from the Chesterfield Honeywell Plant and was an avid hunter and fisherman.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Bessie Ellison; his brother, Robert B. Ellison; and his sisters, Marie Cook and Elizabeth Rideout.

Sam is survived by his beloved wife, Charlotte Ellison; sons, Michael Lynch (Donna) and Stephen Lynch (Karen); his brother, Charles Ellison (June); grandchildren, Megan Melton (Adam), Paul Lynch, Bryce Lynch, Chase Lynch, and Sydney Lynch; as well as, his great-granddaughter, Faith Melton.

A graveside service will be held at Blandford Cemetery, in Petersburg, VA, on Friday, December 13, 2024, at 11:00 AM. Following the service, there will be a visitation and luncheon starting at 12:00 PM at Luca's in Prince George.

The family is being serviced by the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Crater Community Hospice or a charity of your choice.
