Samantha Frances Crabtree

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Samantha "Sam" Frances Crabtree, 29, of Disputanta, Virginia. She departed this life on December 19, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She was a 2014 graduate of Prince George High School, and attended Virginia State College, Richard Bland College, and Liberty University. She majored in Psychology and Special Education and wanted to work as a teacher or guidance counselor. 

She was smart, sweet, beautiful inside and out and had a heart of Gold. She always found the good in people and tried to spread cheer during sad times. She enjoyed music, concerts, and raising farm animals.

Sam is survived by her parents, Bryan and Pamela Crabtree; her paternal grandmother, Selma Crabtree; her maternal grandmother, Mary M. Williams; uncles, David, Lorne, and Shawn Crabtree; cousins, Ashley and her son, Camden, Nick, Haley, and Jayden Crabtree; concert cousin, Kayla Parham; special friend, Brandon Holder; and several great-aunts, great-uncles, and other cousins. She loved her animals, Remington Anne, Rugger Lee, and numerous other fur babies, horses, and feathered friends.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the ICU Nurses and Staff at Bon Secours Southside Regional Medical Center.

A Celebration of Life will be scheduled later. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to your favorite animal shelter.
