Russell Milton Patterson, 87, of Petersburg, passed away on Saturday, December 22, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents; Brady and Ella Collins Patterson, his loving wife; Betty Sue Patterson, 2 children; Russell Patterson, Jr., Mary “Dee Dee” Patterson, and brother, Brady Patterson, Jr. Russell is survived by 2 sons; John Randolph Patterson (Kathy) and Keith “Tommy” Patterson, Sr.; sister, Gracie Boisseau; grandchildren, TJ, Johnny, Roy, Roy Jr., Little John, and Pam; great- grandchild, Vickie; and numerous other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.. A memorial service will be conducted at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service on Friday, December 28, 2012 at 11:00 a.m., with Dr. Ivan Perkinson officiating.
