Roy Snyder

Roy Snyder, 82, of Prince George, VA, passed away on Monday, January 13, 2025. Roy was born in Youngstown, OH, to the late Jack and Dolores Snyder. Roy proudly served in the U.S. Army for 20 years and was a member of the Hopewell Moose Lodge, and the Hopewell American Legion Post 146. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Kathy Cortright Snyder; son, Jason Snyder; daughter, Kellie Whitebread (Jerry); granddaughter, Allison; brother, James (Kathy); as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was a devoted husband and loving grandfather. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2025, at 2 pm, at the Cemetery Chapel of the Virginia Veteran Cemetery at Amelia. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation at www.t2t.org in Roy's honor.
