Roy Lee Rogers Sr.

Roy Lee Rogers, Sr., 59, of Hopewell, VA, passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at John Randolph Medical Center. Roy was born in Chesterfield, VA and was preceded in death by his parents, Robert F. and Reba Robertson Rogers; his wife, Debbie Rogers; and three brothers, Terry, George, and David Rogers. Mr. Rogers was the owner and operator of the Jolly Rogers in Hopewell, VA for over 18 years. He is survived by his three sons, Roy Rogers, Jr., Josh Rogers and Kyle Rogers; a brother, Frankie Rogers; sisters, Patsy Starke, Peggy Newton; and a longtime companion, Becky Ellis. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
