Roy Lee Marshall

Roy Lee Marshall, 76, of Hopewell, Va., passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 6, 2013. He was the son of the late, Jessie L. and Nora Susan Farmer Marshall. He is preceded in death by his wife, Peggy A. Marshall. He retired from Honeywell after 33 years of service. He was the current president of Beach Hunt Club in Chesterfield, a member of the Hopewell Moose Lodge and former member of Prince George Volunteer Rescue Squad. He is survived by his son; Alan Harrison; daughters, Beverly K. Morris, Holly L. Woolridge, Patricia T. Helms, and husband, Glen; grandchildren, Megan, Whitney, John, Eric, Jonathan, Ryan, Kelley and Erin; several great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family; 2 grand-kittens; Jr., and Nuisance. Family will receive friends on Friday, January 11, 2013 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home, Hopewell Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2013, at 10:00 a.m., also at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Appomattox Cemetery, Hopewell, Va.
