Rose Frye

Rose Frye, 85, passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2025. She was born in Kornwestheim, Germany, to the late Helene and Alfred Marquardt. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Britt Frye. Rose was a lifelong artist, a horticulturist, and a fossil expert. She was a volunteer at both Chippokes State Park and Prince George Heritage Center. She is survived by her son, Fred Frye (Mary); daughters, Brenda Frye, Sabine Pontious (Jim), and Stephanie England (Mike); four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and her sister, Helga Scholl. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at 11 a.m., at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to your favorite charity in Rose's name.
