Robert Lewellen Spivey

Robert Lewellen Spivey, 83, of Petersburg, Virginia, passed away September 10, 2013. He is preceded in death by his mother, Mattie Lewis Clark Spivey; father, William Robert Spivey; sister, Mary Jane Spivey Snead. He is survived by his wife, Jean Baxter Spivey; two daughters, Margaret Clark Spivey and Roberta Jean Spivey Willingham (Scott P.); one son, Robert Llewellyn Spivey Jr. (Patricia Hall); three granddaughters, Virginia Elizabeth Armstrong, Michelle Baxter Willingham, Mallorie Leigh Willingham; one grandson, Daniel Spivey Armstrong (Kelly Reid); one great grandson, Robert Reid Armstrong; two nephews, Harry Lamont Snead III and Robert Clark Snead.
He is a U.S. Army veteran where he served in the Korean War. He retired from Brown and Williamson Tobacco Corporation after thirty years of employment. He is an active member of Circus Fans of America, Circus Historical Society, and Circus Model Builders.
Graveside service will be held September 14, 2013, 10:00am, Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg, Virginia.
