Robert Winfree Mcdaniel

Robert Winfree “Mac” McDaniel, 70, of Prince George, passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2013. He was the son of the late, Rolf E. McDaniel, Sr. and Katherine Belcher McDaniel. Mr. McDaniel retired from Fort Lee after many years of service, as a printer operator, and also served in the Army Reserves. He loved bass fishing at Lake Gaston, the Outer Banks and enjoyed Nascar. “Mac” loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Ginger Cosley McDaniel; daughter, Cindy McDaniel Muntean and her husband, John; grandchildren, Jake Travis Sears, Morgan Taylor Sears; brother, Rolf E. McDaniel, Jr. and his wife, Trilby; sister, Mary E. Pearson; many nephews and other family and friends. Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 14, 2013, at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 15, 2013, also at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens.
