Robert Lester Cox

Robert Lester Cox, 92, of Chester, VA passed away on Friday, May 15, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Cora Cox; his loving wife of 57 years, Mary Louise Cox; brothers, Hunter Cox and Cecil Cox; sister Clair Hill. He is survived by his sons, Robert D. Cox and wife Toni, Danny E. Cox and wife Angela; granddaughter, Kristen R. Cox; brother, Carl P. Cox and wife Ruth; sister, Dorothy C. Morrison; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, 3050 W. Hundred Rd., Chester, VA 23831. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at the funeral home.
