Robert C. Andrews

Robert C. Andrews, 86, of Chester, VA, passed away on August 18, 2025. Born in Petersburg, VA, he was the son of the late Calvin and Shirley Andrews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Doris Andrews.

Robert retired from the Richmond Times Dispatch after over 30 years of service. He is survived by his loving wife, Sherran Andrews, with whom he worked with at the newspaper; a granddaughter, Whitney Johnson; and a grandson, Alex Howell. Robert enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of the Masons at Blandford Lodge #3.
