Rick Anthony Scott

Rick Anthony "Tony" Scott, 68, of Dinwiddie, passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2025.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Scott; his mother, Frances Cole and stepdad, Jerry Cole; one sister, Faith; two brothers, Jack and Michael; a daughter, Foxy; and a nephew, Edward "Sonny."

Tony is survived by two daughters, Daisy Scott (Robert) and Francesca Scott (Jason); a granddaughter, Kalia Mae; three grandsons, Anthony, Samuel, and Alexander; two sisters, Ruth Paige (Tom) and April (Darryl); a brother, James (Rosa); a special nephew, Michael; along with numerous other nieces and nephews; close friends, Debbie Harver and C.B. Howerton; and other extended family members and friends.

Tony was a longtime NASCAR fan, and had a fondness for old Western movies. He loved music of all kinds and liked to share new songs he had heard. Tony was well loved and will be sorely missed and fondly remembered by all who were honored to have him touch their lives.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 19, 2025, from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM, at the Dinwiddie Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Tony's name to the Autism Society of Central Virginia, www.ascv.org.
