Richard A. Jones

Richard Allen Jones, 54, of Chesterfield passed away on December 6, 2013. Born in Washington D.C., he was the son of the late Thomas R. and Reba Whitworth Jones. Mr. Jones was a member of Kingsland Baptist Church and had work as a millwright at DuPont for over 35 years. He is survived by his son, Thomas D. Jones; a sister, Marla J. Cole and husband, Pete; an aunt; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, December 9, 2013 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Kingsland Baptist Church, 8801 Perrymont Rd., Richmond, VA 23237 or to the American Diabetes Association, 4335 Cox Rd., Glen Allen, VA 23060
