Richard Dale Hower

Richard Dale “Dickie” Hower, 63, of Church Road, passed away Friday, July 19, 2013. The son of the late Arthur Jefferson “Red” Hower and Dorothy Irene Vaughan Hower, he was also preceded in death by a son, Chris Hower and his brother, Jerry Hower. Dickie loved to travel, and he and his wife, Faye, enjoyed many trips together. He worked for Chrysler for over 30 years. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Faye Hower; son, Jamie Hower and wife, Stacey; grandson, London Hower; step-son, Fletcher Jimerson, Jr.; niece, Melinda Moore and husband, Bill; nephew, George Hower and wife, Monique; his faithful companions, Cody and Pistol; and his best friends, Katie and Richard Alexander. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Monday, July 22, 2013 in the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. Interment will follow at Blandford Cemetery.
