Regina was born in Lakewood, New Jersey, on January 17th, 1948. After graduating from the College of Mount Saint Vincent, she worked as a chemist at Allied Chemical in Morristown, New Jersey, where she met her husband, Bob. After they moved to Virginia in 1971, she worked as a researcher at the Medical College of Virginia before choosing to become a stay-at-home mother. After deciding to go back to work outside the home, she began working for the Chesterfield County Public Schools as a library assistant at Salem Church Elementary School, Ecoff Elementary School, and Carver Middle School. She believed in being very involved in her children's school activities and volunteered as a room mother at Salem Church Elementary School and as an officer and President of the PTA organizations at Salem Church Elementary School, Salem Church Middle School, and L.C. Bird High School. She loved crafts, creating cards on her computer for her family and friends, making scrapbooks and other creative projects, passing on her love of books to her children, nieces, and nephews, and listening to beautiful music (most especially her husband Bob's piano music).

The family would like to thank the wonderful staff of the ALS Association for all of their care over the past 26 years and of Chapters Health Hospice for all of their support and guidance over the last 3 months.
