Ray Delroy McCall

Ray Delroy McCall, 71, of Hopewell, VA, passed away after a long illness on Sunday, October 26, 2025. Born in Petersburg, VA, he was the son of the late Paul and Eunice Gunn McCall; and was also preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie McCall. Ray had retired from ICI (DuPont Teijin Films) after 42 years of dedicated service. Mr. McCall enjoyed spending time outdoors and had many hobbies over the years to include, softball, surf fishing and riding motocycles just to name a few. Ray is survived by his long-time devoted friend, Deborah Gargis; two brothers, Charles McCall and Gerald McCall (Cheriene); and several nieces and nephews. All services will be private. The family is being served by the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Ray Delroy McCall.
