Ramona Vest Bernard

Ramona Vest Bernard, 92, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Friday, February 12th, 2021, following a brief illness. She was born to Norman Talmage Vest and Rhea Harris Vest (Soules) in Petersburg, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Watson Bernard; son, Courtney Taylor Bernard; brother, James Milton Vest; and sister, Annie Belle Sprouse. She leaves to cherish her memories, a daughter, Ramona (Candy) Bernard Hall; grandsons, Jason Jesse Bernard (Helen) of Chesterfield, and Cameron Chadwick Bernard of Richmond; granddaughters, Caroline Elizabeth Loving (Thomas) of Mechanicsville, and Mary Claire Jarvis (Brandon) of Colonial Heights; and nine great-grandchildren. All services will be private. The family is being served by the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
