Ramona Whitehead Adair

Ramona Whitehead Adair, 79, of Prince George, VA, passed away on October 27, 2026. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Alan Lee Adair; parents, John, Jr. and Verna Whitehead; and her brother, Bryan Whitehead.

Ramona was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ and devoted her life to her family. She was a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Ramona cherished each of her roles and cared for her family with unrivaled compassion, generosity, and love. Her nurturing spirit will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege to know her.

Ramona is survived by her children, Tamara Welch (Charles), Timothy Adair, and Mark Adair; grandchildren, Amanda Jabri (Yousef), Tyler Adair (Sydney), Sydney Hicks (Matt), Nicholas Adair, Alan Welch, Georgia Adair, and Isabella Adair; and great grandchildren, Olivia, Ava, Avery, Weston, Peighton, and Riley.

A funeral service for Ramona will be held at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son on Friday, October 30, 2026, at 2:30pm, with interment to follow at Blandford Cemetery. The family will accept friends one hour prior to the service, at 1:30pm.
