Ralston Bailey White, Jr. passed away on August 1, 2026, at the age of 100. Born on June 6, 1926, in Petersburg, Virginia, Ralston lived a remarkable life characterized by dedication and service. 

Ralston proudly served his country in the United States Army for 21 years, retiring with the esteemed rank of Sergeant First Class. His commitment to duty and honor is a testament to his character and has left a lasting legacy. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Ralston B. White, Sr. and Mable R. White; his devoted wife, Emma "Christine" White; and one daughter, Sandra White.

He is survived by three children, Tammie Bynum (Chris), Bobbie Bennington, and Roy White (Lan), as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom cherished his wisdom and love.

A private graveside service will be held in his honor at Southlawn Memorial Park. He will be laid to rest with the respect and dignity he so richly deserves.

In this time of mourning, we find solace in the cherished memories he leaves behind and the profound impact he had on the lives of those who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace. The family is being served by the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in memory of Ralston B. White, Jr.
