Ralph Norwood Snyder

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ralph Norwood Snyder on January 12, 2026. Born on April 28, 1958, in Burbank, California, he spent most of his life in Hopewell, Virginia. He was 67 years old.

He is preceded in death by his father, June Henry "Hank" Snyder; and his mother, Rachel Nelson Snyder. Ralph is survived by his daughter, Rebekkah Snyder Mills and her husband, Nathan Mills; his grandchildren, Titus and Emma Joy; his sister, Debbie Snyder Tavenner and her husband, Jimmy; his nieces, Lyndsey Tavenner Pittman and her husband, Jeff, and Ashley Tavenner Whitt and her husband, Stephen.

Ralph worked in warehousing, printing, and manufacturing his entire career spanning more than 40 years. He retired from Amazon Fulfillment in April 2023.

He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren whom he adored.

As no memorials are currently scheduled, the family asks that in lieu of flowers contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
