Ralph Frederick Forloines, 91, of Prince George, passed away on Father's Day, June 15, 2025. What a perfect day to go join his Heavenly Father and all of the friends and family that have gone before. He was born and raised in Hopewell, where after school he enlisted in the Army and spent two years serving during the Korean War. Coming home, he became a mechanic and millwright and retired from Firestone. He enjoyed fishing and going to the beach, but his real love though was people and talking to anyone who dared to stop and listen. He was a faithful servant and helper at First Baptist Church in Hopewell. If you ever met Ralph, then you knew Ralph. He made his impact on those around him and he continued this as he moved into Dunlop House Assisted Living, where he lived for the last couple of years. His legacy will be remembered there by the thankfulness and graciousness he displayed to all who encountered him.
He is survived by stepdaughter, Dawn Anderson; step-grandsons, Damien Henke and Joshua Anderson; step-great-grandchildren, Madelynn Henke and Liam Henke; nephew, Kenny Spain; great-nephew, Keith Spain (Ruby); great-nieces, Kim Garcia and Sherry Draver. Special thanks to the Dunlop House and At Home Hospice.
A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church at a date to be determined later.
