Pauline M. Hopper, 94, of Colonial Heights, departed this life on Friday, May 31, 2013. She was born on September 16, 1918 in Rabun County, Georgia to the late Fronia and Bass Hopper. Pauline was a longtime employee of the Dixie Restaurant in Petersburg. She was preceded in death by one brother, Kelly Hopper and three sisters, Helen Donaldson, Mary Cathy and Ruth Hopper. She is survived by her son and his wife, Wendell M. and Elizabeth Hopper of Chester; grandchildren, Michael D. Hopper (Vickie) of Colonial Heights and Michelle D. Bennett (Matthew) of Prince George; great-grandchildren, Brooke L. Hopper of Colonial Heights, Isabella N. Bennett and Maximillian S. Bennett of Prince George. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 4th at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. The family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Enon Baptist Church, 13607 N. Enon Church Road, Chester, VA 23836.
