Patricia Marie Anderson

Patricia "Patty" Marie Anderson, 75, of Chesterfield, VA, passed away on October 31, 2025, after a long battle with multiple illnesses. Patricia was born on August 15, 1950, to the late Julian Whitfield Vaughan, Jr. and Edith Mae Jordan. Patricia was a loving mother and grandmother "Nanny", and a beautiful soul who would help anyone. She spent many years working as a Certified Nursing Assistant caring for patients, family members, and friends. She was a shining example of how to think of others. Her years as a CNA were marked by her kindness, empathy, and capacity to bring joy to those around her. She enjoyed crocheting but loved spending time with family and friends above all else. As we deal with the loss of her physical presence, her spirit lives on through the unconditional love she instilled in us.

She is survived by her children, Leonard "Lenny" Anderson, Jr., of Greensburg, PA, Terri Limerick and husband, Artie, of Stafford, VA, and Larry Anderson, of Chesterfield, VA; grandchildren, Nashae "Shae" (Reese) Bishop, Shaquan (Sierra) Bishop, Lauren and Serena Anderson, Nathaniel Anderson, and Kayla Limerick; brothers, Michael Vaughan, Allen Vaughan, and William "Bill" (Sandra) Gregg; her companion of over forty years, William Sterling Warden; her great-grandson, Adrian Owens (who she raised); three other great-grandchildren, Arie, Kayden, and Brielle; as well as several loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Roger Vaughan; and granddaughter, Kaitlyn Marie Anderson.

Her departure leaves an unfillable void in our lives, may we find comfort in the memories and everlasting love we shared.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at 11am, at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Vaughan-Eyler Family Cemetery, in Chester. The family will receive friends one-hour prior to the service.
