Ora Davis Smith

Ora Davis Smith, 96, of Dinwiddie, passed away on February 9, 2014. She was the daughter of the late Stephen and Ollie Davis; and was also preceded in death by her husband, Guy Earl Smith; two children,
Richard E. Smith and B. Ann Matthews; two granddaughters, Virginia M. Link and Teresa S. Wilson; and four brothers, Noah, Burlin, Luther and Ray Davis. She leaves to cherish her memory, two sons, Charles H. Smith of Dinwiddie and Vincent G. Smith of Fayetteville, NC.; one daughter, Gladys V. Hinchey of Dinwiddie; eleven grandchildren; twenty four great-grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home, with the Rev. Robert Rowland, officiating.
