Onda Virginia Minor

Onda Virginia Minor, 85, of Hopewell, VA passed away on Friday, December 5, 2025. Born in Rowlesburg, WV, she was the daughter of the late Julius and Mildred Henline; and was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Richard Minor.

Mrs. Minor is survived by her four daughters, Barbara Campbell (Frank), Shelia Avery (William), Lisa Heretick (Richard) and Evelyn Reel (Steve); five grandchildren, Gene, Shannon, Thomas, Richard and Jacob; a step-granddaughter, Katie; and nine great-grandchildren, Trent, Logan, Madison, Gavin, Cameron, Holly, Richard Jr., Mason, and Hannah.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens, Prince George, VA. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., on Monday, December 8, 2025, at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Powers Memorial Baptist Church in memory of Onda Minor.
